Tempe vegan protein Fingers 

Tempe is a fermented soy product free of lectins (protein found in unfermented soy products) that can be harmful to our gut. Tempe is the product of long fementation that produces Probiotics and enzymes. It is a rich vegan protein source which makes it a prefect vegan recipe. It has a  nutty  texture that resembles meat and the kind of satiety sensation that follows immidiately after eating the tempe Schnitzel. It is made of fermented Soy protein so it is on my YES list . The fermentation which is a process in which carbohydrates are broken down by bacteria and yeast. The soybeans are then pressed and bound together to form a dense patty. 

The fermentation process of the Soy beans neutralizes lectins and toxins that can be harmful to our health. Unfortunatley most soybeans are GMO product being bombasted with roundups and carcinogens chemicals. This is why they are on my NO list. 

Tempe -the traditional Japanese protein 

Tempeh is a nutrient-dense soy product with a high amount of plant based protein, as well as various vitamins and minerals. It has a unique taste that somehow grows on you but certainly needs some seasoning and TLC. It may decrease cholesterol levels, oxidative stress and appetite while improving bone health. Tempeh also contains prebiotics, and Enzymes which may improve digestive health and reduce inflammation.

I am very excitied about the benifits of the Tempe It is packed with bone-building nutrients which are phosphorus, calcium, manganese, and copper, all of which are important to bone health. As you can see this food is packed with a range of minerals that have a beautifying affect - they are excellent not only for our bones but also hair, nails and a flawless skin . This food has a  PH alkalineso it will not further leach minerals from your body. (Animal protein— fish, poultry, red meat, eggs, and dairy products—tends to leach calcium from the bones and encourages its passage into the urine. Plant protein—in beans, grains, and vegetables—Is not acidic therfore will not stimulte the body to loose minerals and especially calcium. We need these minerals in the body for many reasons from healthy bone density to a glowing skin.

Preparation 

Dry the tempe with a towel, slice the tempe 

In a frying pan add coconut oil and start fryin the tempe 

You may marinate the Tempe a head of time for about 30 minutes and then suate, or add the sauce made of a fish broth or Soy without gluten.

Serve on a bed of greens, In a Sandwich, or on top of rice ..
